My personal site, and the home for everything else in this portfolio.

This is where all my side projects live — a hero landing page, an about/contact page, and a projects index linking out to individual project pages, each with its own write-up. If you’re reading this document, there’s a good chance you got here by clicking through from there.

What it does

Landing page, about/contact page, and a projects index — the entry point to the rest of the portfolio

Fully bilingual, English and Spanish, with every page available under both
Light (“Parchment”) and dark (“Ember”) theme, switchable and persisted

How it’s built

Astro, statically generated — ships zero JavaScript by default. Project write-ups are Markdown, rendered through Astro’s content collections at build time, so adding a project is just adding a file.

Shared component library — built on @macolmenerori/component-library, a package I publish and maintain myself, so design changes propagate across all my projects instead of being copy-pasted between them
Bilingual by URL — English and Spanish live under /en/ and /es/, with hreflang alternates and a generated sitemap so both are properly indexed
Content-driven — project pages are Markdown files, not hardcoded components; the site itself is the delivery mechanism for the rest of this portfolio
